A little Fuvahmulah (fvm.town) is a small, playful miniature of the island of Fuvahmulah that you can wander with other people. This page says what we collect and why. It is short because we collect little.
A little Fuvahmulah is operated by the fvm.town team. Contact: info@fvm.town. Write to us about anything on this page, including deleting your data.
You can explore without an account. While you are connected, the server holds your position on the map and a temporary guest identifier in memory so other visitors can see you. This is discarded when you leave.
Signing in is optional. We ask Google for the scopes openid, email and profile, and receive:
We use these to create your account, to show your name and picture to other visitors on the island, and to let moderators act on an account rather than on a single session. We use your email address to reach you about your account, such as a deletion request.
We do not use this information for advertising or profiling, and we do not use it for anything else. We never sell it, and we never share it with third parties other than the processors listed below.
A little Fuvahmulah's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Proximity voice is transmitted in real time between visitors through Cloudflare's realtime service. We do not record conversations. The one exception is reporting, below.
If you report another visitor, your device can attach the last 30 seconds of the voice you were hearing as evidence. That clip is stored privately, is playable only by moderators, and is deleted after 30 days. The report itself (who reported whom, when and why) is kept as moderation history.
To keep the island friendly, hosts and moderators can mute, remove or ban visitors. Records of these actions and of visitors you block are kept so that they can be enforced and reviewed.
There are no others.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. A sign-in token is kept in your browser so you stay signed in; signing out removes it.
Email info@fvm.town from the address you signed in with, and ask us to delete your account. Within 7 days we delete your account record, your sign-in tokens, your volume settings and your blocks. Reports you filed are kept as moderation history but are unlinked from your account; report clips are already deleted after 30 days.
You can also sign out at any time, which removes the token from your browser and leaves the rest untouched.
A little Fuvahmulah is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account here, email info@fvm.town and we will remove it.
We may update this policy; the date at the top tells you when it last changed. If a change matters to data you have already given us, we will say so on this page.
